Directions for Use
1. Fill cold water to the water container and set the ceramic or plastic heater cover. (Warning: Do not fill water over flow or container with other liquid or materials other than water, e.g., wine, spices.)

2. Place ingredients according to size and recipe.
For best results, size of ingredients should be relatively uniform.
Ingredients with shorter cooking time should be placed in the smaller container and those requiring longer cooking time should be placed in the larger container. (e.g., vegetables - small steamer; meat - large container)

3. Assemble the steamer and plug in the cord.

4. Adjust the timer.

5. Timer will turn off automatically with the activation of an alarm.
When steamer is being used for the first time, the power indicator lamp may turn off and on arbitrarily. This is not a system malfunction. The lamp will function normally following one to two hours of initial operation.

6. Open the lid and taste to determine whether more time is needed or not.

7. When cooking is completed, unplug the cord and empty the oil tray and the water container. Wash with warm water and dry with a towel. Store for future use.

For Best Results - Before First Use
Wash detachable parts with kitchen detergent.

4. Defrost meat before steaming.
5. When cooking vegetables and meat together, place vegetables on top and meat at the bottom.

Cooking With Spices
1. Do not place spices in the water container.
2. Place ingredients marinated with spices in a thin plate then place plate in steamer. (e.g., marinated short ribs, fish casserole, spicy sesame leaves)
