The tip of nail is the most fragile
part which breaks easily. Logic and
experience have proved that it is the
tip of nail which needs to be strengthened.
This Scientifique is a special treatment
for the nail tip. It helps prevent splitting
or flaking, strengthens soft nails.
It features fast result, ease to apply
and economy.

Directions:
Remove polish and clean
nails making sure they are completely dry.
As the product may have a hardening action
on the skin, do not let it touch the skin
and protect cuticles with cream or oil.
Wipe excess product against bottle neck and
brush MAVALA Scientifique very sparingly onto
extreme tip only of each nail. Do not apply
underneath the tip of the nail. Hold hands
downward for about one minute to allow the
product to penetrate the nail.
If over-generous application runs onto skin
or cuticles, wipe off with damp cotton.
MAVALA Scientifique should be used once a
week before each manicure.
Once nails are hard enough, apply MAVALA Scientifique
every fortnight only.
Nail polish can be applied as soon as MAVALA
Scientifique has thoroughly penetrated. There
is one-year supply in a 5 ml bottle. To more
than moisten the tips of the nails with MAVALA
Scientifique is wasteful.
Ingredients:
Water, Formaldehyde,
Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Chamomile Extract,
Garlic Extract, Cocamide DEA, Pine Oil, Eucalyptus
Oil, Lemon Oil, FD&C Blue #1.

If you have read any other Mavala reviews
you will know that I am "sold" on
these products. I am 51 yrs. and finally found
my Holy Grail for Nail products. It is Mavala
nail care line and only nail polish. Thanks
to Folica.com I found both of these products
from the reviews I've read. Thank you to all
of those who wrote a review - I listened and
I am extremely happy. My nails look fake.
They were crappy over the years - weak, broken,
dry cuticles, manicures that didn't last 2
days. Not any more.

I have been using the Mavala nail hardener
for about 2 months now and I'm pleased to
report that it does indeed work, initially
it feels almost as though you're wearing artificial
nails they're so strong and sturdy. However,
I have found that the best way to get the
most out of this experience is two use it
in conjunction with Gina's healthy hoof protein
treatment (a product that horse trainer's
use to keep their thoroughbreds nails' healthy
and strong; a product you just happen to sell,
also). And it's a good thing because I have
used the latter for many years every day (3-5
times) and simply adore it. The results are
permanent and keep improving. I do have one
caution though, do not use the healthy hoof
right after the nail hardener. Wait until
the next day preferably in the morning after
you shower. Then throughout the day after
your hands have been in water. Now, you have
a two prong treatment, one that strengthens
and thickens your nails and the other that
does the same thing with the added bonus of
moisturizing and nourishing the nail bed and
cuticles. It also creates the most beautiful
nail contour you've ever seen, so real they'll
look fake. As a very savvy and learned nail
care consumer who has tried virtually every
product on the market along with some really
gross homemade concoctions, I highly recommend
this combo to anyone with weak, thin nails.
There is hope at last!

I really like this product and for such

to buy the Mavala products. Now I have with
Folica.com. Not only are my choices plentiful
but they shipped so fast. I will continue

I have very bad nails, a trait I inherited
and share with other women in my family.
My nails are extremely thin and fragile.
My hobbies don't help; I make pottery and
garden in my spare time, and I love to paint.
Using Mavala about once per week has helped
my nails stay smoother and stronger than
they ever were before. I use it in combination
with Mavala's Nailactin and Cuticle Cream
several times a week. This combination seems
to work best for me.

They were once available at Shoppers Drug
Mart but they longer carry these products.

very flakey and fragile and they are very
